Jennifer Bandhan, MSc.P.T

- Has experience in hydrotherapy, stroke rehabilitation and working with clients with acquired brain injuries.
- Currently working part-time in home health care in the Mississauga and Brampton area along with clinical work at Queen West Physiotherapy and Acupuncture.
- Outside of work Jennifer studies martial arts and is working toward her black belt in Shotokan Karate. She also enjoys swimming, travelling and beating her husband at golf!

Criston Bandhan, MSc.P.T., Hon.BSc. (Kinsesiology)

- Has taken post graduate courses in Fit Fore Golf (a research based approach to the rehabilitation golf injuries and golf performance), acupuncture, manual therapy.
- Cris has had experience in a variety of clinical settings including neurology, orthopedic and cardiorespiratory conditions.
- He is an active community member, who regularly participates in fundraises for Sick Kids Foundation and Heart and Stroke Foundation.
- Cris enjoys promoting the physiotherapy profession in the community and is an avid golfer.
- He also holds a Second Degree Black Belt in Karate and as an instructor at Wellness Martial Arts, he has a clear understanding of martial arts related injuries and performance.
- Cris currently writes as a physiotherapist for Kiai magazine, Canada’s only national martial arts magazine.

- Extensive training and expertise in FAE’s, Ergonomic Assessments and other Independent Medical Assessments.
- Enjoys combining multiple skills in Physiotherapy and Acupuncture practice and delivers excellent outcome to the clients, in the Brampton and Mississauga communities.
- In her spare time, enjoys being active with her family, walking outdoors and Pilates.

Wendy Fowles, BSc.P.T.
- Physiotherapist, specializing in PEDIATRIC physiotherapy for children (birth-21y.o.) with any condition: developmental delay,
cerebral palsy, hypotonia, hypertonia, developmental coordination disorder (DCD), gross motor concerns, orthopedic.
- Specially trained in: MEDEK, neurological conditions, core stability, Thera Togs, orthotics and equipment such as pediatric walkers and standers.
- Assistive Devices Program (ADP) authorizer.

Rani Bains, BSc.P.T.
Rani holds a degree in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University and a degree inBiology from McMaster University. She enjoystreating clients of all ages presenting with various orthopaedic conditions, both acute and chronic in nature. She regularly treats cases involving motor vehicle accidents, work related injuries, sports injuries, post surgical cases, and repetitive stress injuries, just to name a few. Rani has taken a variety of courses including those specializing in acupuncture and myofascial release. She continues to partake in additional courses on a regular basis to further her learning and excel in her career. Rani is a huge advocate of overall health and wellness and enjoys activities including yoga practice, running, and strength training.

Janet Gay, OT

- Bachelor of Applied Science, Occupational Therapy from Cumberland College of Health Sciences, Sydney, Australia, 1984.
- Training in Counseling (from BCQ and SUQ, Australia)
- Making the big move from Australia to live in lovely Brampton in early 2009. She enjoys a variety of family based activities in the local area.
As an Occupational Therapist, Janet Gay has worked with people who have had a range of physical, cognitive and behavioural difficulties. These people have come from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Janet enjoys enabling people to maximize their independence and quality of life. Accurate assessment is a vital part of this process. It is Janet’s professional training, work experience and eagerness to set goals and achieve them that provide her suitability to working as a Community Occupational Therapist.

Whether you have questions about the billing process or simply want to talk about your concerns, our friendly and courteous reception and office staff, along with our compassionte and knowledgeable physiotherapy assistants, are there to listen. They bring with them their diverse work and education experiences to our clinic in order to ensure its operation runs smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis.
Their great care and compassion enables them to help all clients as much as they can. Issues ranging from a language barrier to a specific disability are always addressed appropriately. At Queen West Physiotherapy & Acupuncture, help is always there.
