Shirley completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology in Health and Exercise Physiology at the University of Calgary. Having been active her whole life, she became a physiotherapist so that she could help others move easier and move better so that they can return to the activities they enjoy. She is also passionate about the promotion of healthy and active lifestyles. She then completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto where she gained valuable experience treating stroke, oncology, amputee, and chronic pain patients. She also has vast experience treating neck and shoulder pain, upper and lower back pain, sciatica, among other injuries and conditions. She is skilled in providing soft tissue release, cupping, manual therapy, modalities, and exercise prescription.
Having grown up in Calgary near the Rocky Mountains, Shirley loves hiking and being outdoors as well as other activities like biking, volleyball, and weightlifting.
Shirley is fluent in English and can understand basic Cantonese.
